Have you ever noticed that your body position reflects how you feel? For example, a slouched or closed-in position may be connected to a sad or tired feeling, whereas an upright and open posture may related to feelings of confidence, energy or positivity?
Just as your mood can influence your body, it is believed that you have the power to affect your emotions and mind with adjustments to your body position. If feeling down or low on energy, try sitting up straighter, stretching your arms upward or outward and put on a smile. These subtle changes are likely to shape your mood and further increase your awareness of the incredible body-mind connection that was there all along!
