Our brains are wired to react and make decisions quickly, and after a TBI, it is hard to get used to the notion that our brain may actually be lying to us. So, listen to those around you, and trust your support system. Keep in mind that your loved ones may know better, and only want to help, care, and guide you on a safe path toward healing

Use meditation to help revitalize the connection between the mind and the body. Especially in times of chaos, meditation can create a safe place to find peace, presence, and silence.
