TRUST YOUR SUPPORT AND MEDITATE!
BRAIN HEALTH | 4.4.2016 | BY KEVIN PEARCE
Your brain is your body’s vital center. It controls every function within our body, including the ability to feel and emit love, to take in food, water, and oxygen, and in essence, to be who we are. Our brains are wired to react and make decisions quickly, and after a TBI, it is hard to get used to the notion that our brain may actually be lying to us. So, listen to those around you, and trust your support system. Keep in mind that your loved ones may know better, and only want to help, care, and guide you on a safe path toward healing
Use meditation to help revitalize the connection between the mind and the body. Especially in times of chaos, meditation can create a safe place to find peace, presence, and silence.
“Your mind will answer most questions if you learn to relax and wait for the answer” – William S. Burroughs
