Belly Breath Meditation by Asa Angel

This meditation practice allows us to tune into the basic awareness of the body. It is said in the Buddhist tradition that the body itself is already in an awakened state, always in the present moment. Through this practice we bring the mind into alignment with the body, releasing stored tension in both body and mind.

Asa is a yoga teacher based in Providence, Rhode Island and also works for LoveYourBrain as a Yoga Program Coordinator. She is deeply committed to cultivating meditative spaces, through which we can access deeper parts of ourselves and bring about lasting transformation. Asa understands that it is in the spaces between thoughts, words, and actions where we can achieve a sense of relaxation and connection to the world around us.
