How do I know if I’m ready?

It is important that people are at a place in their healing process to be ready.

  • Able to move without assistance (no wheelchair, cane)

  • Open to participating in group discussion

  • Can follow instructions and regulate intense emotions

  • Can commit to all 6 classes (first class is mandatory)

  • 15+ years of age

  • To create a culture of shared experiences related to TBI, our program is only open to people with TBI and caregivers

How does the program work?

Step 1

Attend our FREE 6-week program! Each class is 1.5 hours and offers:

  • Gentle yoga to improve strength and balance

  • Meditation and breathing exercises to reduce stress

  • Group discussion to build resilience and community connection

Step 2

Access “LoveYourBrain friendly” gentle yoga classes, which are:

  • Open to the broader community but have been identified as accessible for TBI

  • Taught by yoga teachers who have completed our specialized training
