LYB Mindset Facilitator & Retreat

About me: The ebb & flow of brain injury and stroke continues to be an ever-changing and wild ride for me since my first injury in 2013. As a TBI/ABI Thriver of now multiple injuries, I work daily to appreciate the glimmers in life so that I am able to walk forward with gratitude, love, and appreciation of the beauty, blessings, and small miracles The Creator gifts us within nature and each other.

Why LYB: I was blessed to attend my first LYB Retreat as a participant in 2022. The immense support and love I found within the community was nothing I had experienced before, opening new capacity for hope and motivation. After pausing on my social work and therapist role professionally due to injury, I am more than excited to offer my presence and skill set to LYB and the Brain Injury Community. Holding space and connecting with others that are on similar journeys is valuable; and combining that with some of my other passions of (hot) yoga, meditation, and energy work is an easy win!

Superhero: My son is my superhero. To see life and one's self through the eyes of a child is a priceless reminder that we are whole, completely unconditionally loved, and valued JUST AS WE ARE - regardless of how much capacity (we do or do not have) on any given day, week, month. My son shows me daily how find joy, grace, perseverance and LOVE is what life should be all about. A living testament to the Radical Acceptance we all are deserving of.
