About me: Kindness, compassion, and humor are hallmarks of my self-identity. Life has not always been kind or easy to my mind and body, but my resiliency is built upon those identifiers. I am considered a jack of all trades and am always open to learning more. I hold certifications in everything from pool operation to cannabis and the endocannabinoid system. I am blessed with an amazing partner and 3 children who have supported me through so much of my TBI recovery, and I blessed them with a love of ice hockey.

Why LYB: To be a part of LYB is such an honor, and becoming a program leader felt like divine guidance. I have always believed in giving back to the community, and LYB has allowed me to do so both as a facilitator and a retreat volunteer. This community constantly inspires me and in turn I hope to inspire others.  

Superhero: I'm doing this thing where I cheer my self on and celebrate me. For so long I thought of myself as unworthy, and I see now that is not true. My super hero is me because I am worthy, I am strong, I am resilient and I have so much to offer this world.
