Scholarship Opportunities

Please see below for the scholarship opportunities available for people in need of support to attend LoveYourBrain trainings. When reviewing scholarship requests, we are aware of the intersectionality of oppression and commit to simultaneously increasing diversity based on disability, gender, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, age, etc.

People with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and Caregivers:

We believe it is critical to support people with a lived experience of TBI and caregiving people with TBI to be leaders in offering yoga and mindfulness tools to the TBI community to address the stark realities of isolation, gaps in community-based services and lack of understanding about TBI. To increase equity, we offer full and sliding scale scholarship opportunities for people with TBI and people who are Caregivers of people with TBI, as needed, who are deeply committed to supporting the TBI community in the long term through yoga and mindfulness.

How to apply:

Applications for our trainings all provide an opportunity to request a full or sliding scale scholarship as a person with TBI or as a caregiver while filling out the form.

Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC):

Due to impacts of structural racism, there is a lack of diversity in white-majority yoga and healthcare spaces. To increase equity, we offer full and sliding scale scholarship opportunities for BIPOC, as needed, who are deeply committed to supporting the TBI community in the long term through yoga and mindfulness.

How to apply:

Applications for our trainings all provide an opportunity to request a full or sliding scale BIPOC scholarship while filling out the form.

Partial Scholarships for Clinical Connectors:

We are building a network of clinicians working in TBI rehabilitation that agree to help us raise awareness about the LYB Yoga program in their health service. We believe partnering with clinicians is critical to the sustainability and expansion of our program and offer a 10% discount for Clinical Connectors to attend our training.
