About The Summit

At the heart of The LoveYourBrain Summit lies a simple yet radical belief: when care centers the whole person—mind, body, and heart—healing transforms lives.

The movement behind The Summit

10 years of advancing science-backed holisitic healing for brain injury.

The LoveYourBrain Foundation is a leader in researching and applying science-backed holistic healing modalities for brain injury. Our approach is grounded in five pillars: mindfulness, yoga, psychoeducation, nutrition, and community-building, learned from our founders’ lived experience and through a decade of innovation and feedback from our community.

Our nine published studies demonstrate measurable improvements in quality of life, cognition, resilience, mood, and emotional regulation for the thousands of people we’ve supported at the crucial transition between medical care and the rest of their lives.

As the only organization offering free, evidence-based holistic health programs for people with brain injury and caregivers in hospitals, communities, and online, we’re paving the way for system-wide change.

And we know we can do much more.

Awareness leads to action

The Summit will achieve two goals:

  • Introduce the brain injury community to emerging therapies and research that support long-term healing.

  • Create a collaborative forum that elevates the visibility, credibility, and integration of holistic therapies as a recognized pathway for growth and healing after brain injury.

Key questions The Summit addresses

  • How can we combine ancient medicine with modern methods to create clearer, more personalized recovery pathways for brain injury?

  • In what ways can nutrition and gut-brain health influence inflammation, energy, and cognitive clarity after injury?

  • How can emerging modalities—like Photobiomodulation and Neurotherapeutics—accelerate neuroplasticity and brain health?

  • How does healing after brain injury unfold in relationship—within affirming spaces of compassion and understanding?

  • How the brain’s habit loops (trigger→behavior→reward) can reinforce anxiety or promote well-being after TBI?

  • What holistic approaches are safe and effective for reducing headaches and sensory overload?

  • What does it take to make evidence-based holistic therapies accessible and trusted within mainstream brain injury care?
