TBI and PTS(D): The Yoga and Science of Healing
A panel discussion on why yoga, mindfulness, and brain wave therapy are critical healing modalities for TBI and PTS(D). In the US, research estimates that about 1 in 5 civilians with TBI develop PTS(D), whereas about 1 in 2 service members with concussion may have PTS(D). Because TBI and PTS(D) can co-occur--but not always--it’s essential to understand how they intersect to be able to effectively support both conditions.
