LYB Mindset Facilitator
About me: Teaching small, medium and large groups of learners of all ages and from all over the world was my life for years before my cycling accident and brain injury. I enjoyed embracing everyone’s different backgrounds and experiences and would love to continue to utilize my teaching abilities for Love Your Brain. The Love Your Brain Mindset Program has helped me so much with my injury and recovery and I can't wait to help others on their own journey.
Why LYB: I live and breathe teaching and learning. I’m an educator by trade and feel like being a Mindset Facilitator will be a great fit for me naturally. My bachelor’s and master’s degrees are both in education. I taught for 15 years in Japan, Florida and California before working as a Program Director at my current Parkinson’s nonprofit organization. Helping and supporting people is in my nature and it brings me joy knowing I'm going to be there for people who are in need.
Superhero:My Grandma is my superhero because she was a strong and resilient woman who back in the day when women didn't have jobs, she worked. She was a kind and open and forgiving person who loved everyone and accepted people as they were. She was wonderful in so many ways and I strive to be like her every day.
