About me: I believe in soaking up all of the small joys in life I can -- from laughter, dancing, and good music to that first sip of coffee on a quiet morning and getting lost in a good book. I'm a fitness professional with experience in the mental health field, and through time and healing, I have grown into someone who views life through a new and broader lens after adjusting to how it looks for me after experiencing a TBI.
Why LYB: The first time I felt empowered and inspired to continue helping people care for their minds and bodies after my TBI was when I participated in a LYB class series at a local yoga studio. Since then, I have felt a desire to foster connection and community with others navigating their own TBI experience(s). And what better place to do that than through the program that reignited a fire in me that I thought was gone after my injury?
Superhero: My superheroes are the ones who choose authenticity and compassion, even after life has changed them, in a world that doesn't always embrace those qualities. I believe the quiet strength found in softness, staying grounded, and remaining true to yourself is deeply underrated.
