Camp Collins Community Retreat
May 4-8, 2026 — FULL
September 21-25, 2026 — applications are open!
Our Community Retreat at Camp Collins is tucked along the banks of the Sandy River, just outside of Oxbow Regional Park in Oregon. While only 30 miles east of downtown Portland, Camp Collins offers tranquil seclusion amidst the old growth forest. Sheltered from the rush of daily life, Camp Collins provides a peaceful place to discover resilience, community, and belonging. Transform your healing journey after brain injury using the science-backed benefits of holistic healing through our mindfulness, movement, nutrition, art, and community-building curriculum.
“I feel so different. I feel I have community now. I was SO alone! I loved meeting these amazing people and I am super inspired by them and by the program leaders and volunteers. This program has changed my life.”
— Sarah S., Retreat Program Participant
Accommodations
All individuals attending the Retreat sleep in communal cabin-style accommodations. Each cabin has a private bathroom (toilet and sink) for use only by residents of the cabin. Additional bathrooms, including shower facilities, are located in modern bathhouses very close to the cabins. We are unable to provide individual room accommodations at this time. Cabins are equipped with beds, toilet and sink facilities, and electrical outlets. All participants are responsible for their own bedding and bath towels. Cell service may be limited. Wifi is available in the main lodge.
Nourishment
All meals are crafted by world-class chefs and a dedicated kitchen team. Participants are provided with brain-healthy meals each day, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Food is served communally/buffet style (i.e., not in individual servings). In addition to delicious daily nourishment, participants will also participate in opportunities to learn how nutrition can contribute to and compliment holistic healing after brain injury.
Curriculum
Our Retreats offer a science-backed curriculum designed to support resilience and holistic healing. We provide daily opportunities for gentle yoga, mindfulness activities, nutrition support, art inquiry, and community building. With scheduled rest time, self-care is always encouraged and prioritized. Our hope is that you gain additional knowledge around brain injury healing, feel part of a community, and connect to your inner resilience.
