The Body: Relax the Grip of Anxiety

Today’s meditation gets you into your body through simple relaxation techniques. We often aren’t aware of the tension our bodies hold until we pause. Anxiety causes the body to be in a state of alert and protection - causing tightness and pain – and a simple body scan can provide immediate relief! Relaxation is the foundation of meditation. 

Carolyn Anne Budgell (she/her) (BA, ERYT since 2008) is an introspective and lighthearted yoga/meditation instructor based in Vancouver, BC.  Carolyn discovered yoga in 1999 as a ski bum in Whistler and now teaches all over with Lila Vinyasa School of Yoga, lululemon, various international yoga festivals / conferences and many other organizations.
