Our free, evidence-based online program for BIPOC living with brain injury combines mindfulness, gentle yoga, and peer support. Reduce burnout and isolation while improving stress management and emotional resilience through community connection and practical tools.

LoveYourBrain Mindset is a program for anyone affected by brain injury and caregivers and includes affinity groups for participants with other shared identities or life experiences.

What to Expect

  • Six weekly classes with core themes based on Growth Mindset Theory

  • Expert facilitators with intersectional BIPOC identities

  • Simple & effective tools: educational videos, meditations, yoga nidra guided relaxation for sleep, gentle movement practices

  • A community for learning, inspiration, and personal growth

Program Formats

Programs offered in January, April, July, and October. Choose between two types:

Meet the Facilitators

Kourtney Smith is a LoveYourBrain Mindset Facilitator and yoga practitioner with nearly a decade of lived experience navigating life after TBI. Rooted in compassion, community, and self-expression, she is passionate about creating supportive healing spaces that help others feel guided, empowered, and less alone in their journey. Kourtney Smith

After surviving a TBI in 2015, Nirali Chauhan turned toward meditation, healing, and community as pathways forward. Today, she is a medical student, meditation teacher, and LoveYourBrain Mindset Facilitator dedicated to creating compassionate spaces where others feel seen, supported, and empowered in their own healing journeys. Nirali Chauhan

Raegan is a yoga and meditation teacher specializing in adaptive and accessible practices. Inspired by her experience caregiving for her grandmother after a stroke-related brain injury, she brings a deeply inclusive approach to helping people reconnect with themselves through movement, mindfulness, and rest. Michelle Butts is a LoveYourBrain Mindset Facilitator and yoga therapist whose lived experience with chronic illness has deepened their commitment to accessible, resilience-centered healing. Marisol Enriquez is a yoga teacher and LoveYourBrain Mindset Facilitator whose personal healing journey after a serious spinal injury sparked a lifelong dedication to mindful movement and holistic wellness.   • LoveYourBrain Mindset for BIPOC is intentionally designed Black and Indigenous people of color living with a brain injury. The program facilitators’ background and discussion themes reflect the specific experience of the BIPOC community to create a space of shared understanding.
